Jazz Band 
(Period 4)

MMS Jazz Band:  The jazz band is comprised of saxophones, cornets, trombones and a rhythm section (drum-set, keyboard, guitar, & double bass).  This course is designed to introduce students to the basic concepts of jazz idioms such as improvisation, the blues progression, and swing in a big band ensemble. 

HOW CAN MY CHILD ENROLL IN JAZZ BAND?
Student must audition in enroll in Jazz Band.  Please see Mr. Howe for an application.
